The use of a wash cloth may cause wide spreading of acne infections throughout the face. A soft cloth is more advisable avoiding vigorous face washing or forceful rubbing. Dermatologists also recommend washing the face before entering the shower as this may prevent the out spreading of acne infections to other parts of the body. |
Doctors also recommend you trying to avoid getting shampoo in contact
with your face especially on the sensitive areas that are starting to
show symptoms of becoming infested with acne.
To kill bacteria that are present in the pores as they open a small amount
of hydrogen peroxide must be dissolved in the bath tub.
Using the hottest water you can withstand when washing your face will
open the skin pores entirely and kill the bacteria that thrive within.
The hot water may also dissolve unnecessary oil while releasing them.
Mild soaps may prove useful but specific soaps for treating acne may help
decrease your pimples significantly.
A shower in the morning and in the evening is the most recommended for
a person inflicted with acne, following the guidelines that are mentioned
above. However, if this cannot be done, it is advisable to wash your face
regularly.
To keep the pores open to prevent an outbreak of acne for the acne-prone
person, washing the face on a regular basis, but not too often, as this
may result to a bacteria-free face, is the best option. Making use of
wipes or washing the affected area may be helpful in washing your face.
Any acne-affected parts of your skin must never be exposed to sunlight.
It is best for you to apply sunscreen to save your skin from potential
infections if you cannot avoid sunlight.
Good hygiene must be followed for minimal intensity acne.
