Oily Skin Acne Susceptibility
Oily skin acne is characterized with pimples and blackheads. If not given considerable
care and treatment, these pimples and blackheads can likely develop into severe acne conditions and may leave permanent pits and scars. Acne afflicts
85% of people between ages 12 to 24. This is a very common skin condition that afflicts infants, teenagers, and adults alike only in varying intensity of
skin infestation. Even though there is no cure for acne there are effective treatments for the skin disease. Firstly, you must know your skin type before
employing any acne treatment procedures. Skin is primarily the outer covering of the whole human body, a barrier that keeps off microorganisms and harmful
elements from entering the body. The skin is responsible for some vital bodily functions like regulating the loss of body liquids such as blood and water.
Also, it protects body tissues from injuries and controls body temperature through perspiration. The skin is composed of different layers called
the epidermis, the dermis, and subcutaneous tissue. The epidermis plays a significant role in acne production as it includes hair follicles, sweat glands,
and sebaceous glands. This part of the skin is also very responsive to changes in temperature, pain and itching as it covers blood vessels and nerve cells.
The skin has three primary types: normal skin, dry skin, and oily skin. Aside from these primary types, it is further subdivided into different categories
where certain conditions apply. For example, these skin combinations are acne-prone skin, sensitive skin, aging skin, and mature skin. Acne-infected individuals
must take extra care in treating their skin, food intake, and the cosmetics they use. Proper attention should be given for all skin types as this may provide
substantial aid in skin treatments to maintain healthy skin.
Apart from acne-prone skin, sensitive skin, and oily skin are also subjected to acne affliction. Oily skin is often
coarse and shiny in texture. This may have enlarged skin pores and recurring blackheads. This is also characterized with flaky patches around the nose and
may produce large amounts of oil or sebum. These are the factors why acne infection is widespread in this skin type even during adulthood. Sensitive
skin acne is easily due to the fact that it is readily affected with the slightest change in body chemistry brought about by foods, cosmetics, and external
influences. It is regarded as a skin type with damaged vessels and capillaries below the skin surface. If in case you have developed sensitivity of the
skin, then it is proper that you take added care in both external and internal factors that may suggest skin inflammation. Perfumes, cosmetics, and other
chemical substances must be appropriately chosen as they may trigger chemical reactions in the body, which in turn might produce skin irritation and acne
production. Proper diet must also be observed along with regular exercise to maintain bodily functions and metabolism in shape. Only proper care for
skin is important in maintaining its health. Stress also must be minimized as it may generate an acne breakout, induce aging, and may cause other skin diseases
and disorders. Depending upon the weather at different times of the day, oiliness may vary due to oily skin acne. Contact us Home
